Are the developers of LinCal able to see my data?
LinCal loads all your Linear data directly in your browser. There are no server-side webhooks or data passing through our systems. We never see your issues, updates, or notifications. Your work data is yours alone.
Does LinCal modify my Linear data?
Yes, but only when you perform actions (drag tasks, create issues). All changes go directly to Linear through their official API.
Does LinCal store my Linear data?
LinCal does not store any data related to your workspace, like issue data, project data, and more. Its all locally handled in your browser.
The only data LinCal stores in a database is your Linear user ID and email address used to sign in.
Do I need a Linear account?
Yes, LinCal works as an enhancement to your existing Linear workspace. You log in with your Linear account; there is no LinCal account.
Does LinCal work with my team?
Yes, each team member can connect their own Linear account and view/manage their issues.
What can I do in LinCal that I can’t do in Linear?

Will changes I make in LinCal appear in Linear?
Yes, instantly. LinCal uses Linear’s official API, so all changes sync immediately.
Does LinCal support all Linear features?
Right now, LinCal focuses on due date management and calendar views. LinCal lets you edit the properties most useful during calendar planning—including title, description, status, assignee, project, labels and cycle. You can open the issue in Linear whenever you need comments, attachments or the complete issue view.
Can I disconnect LinCal from my Linear account?
Yes, revoke access anytime from Linear settings > applications.
How does LinCal pricing work?
LinCal has full access on every plan. Free Linear workspaces can use LinCal for free. Paid Linear workspaces only need the Workspace plan when two or more people use LinCal.
How do I know if I need to upgrade?
LinCal will only show upgrade options if your workspace needs them. If you are on a free Linear workspace, or only one person uses LinCal in your paid Linear workspace, you can keep using LinCal for free.
How do I upgrade?
Just sign in with Linear and use LinCal normally. If your workspace meets the upgrade criteria, LinCal will show an upgrade button in the app. The billing owner can choose monthly or annual billing and complete checkout.
Who can manage billing?
The first person who starts checkout becomes the workspace billing owner. After that, only the billing owner can manage billing for the workspace under the user menu in LinCal
Is pricing per user?
No. LinCal uses flat workspace pricing. One Workspace subscription covers the whole Linear workspace.
